Our Open Day for September 2025 has now taken place.

September 2025 Intake: Our Admissions Policy can be found at the bottom of this page.
In deciding where you would like your child to go to school, it is really important to find out as much as you can about the schools themselves. Please email the school office on office@sissinghurst.kent.sch.uk if you wish to book onto a tour for admission to Sissinghurst Primary School.
The local authority (LA) coordinates all admissions for children starting school for the first time and the link below will direct you to the Kent County Council website where you will find all the information that you require. If you have a child in any other year group, and would like to enquire about places, then please do so directly through the school office. https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/school-places/primary-school-places#tab-3 You can make applications from 5 November 2024 for your place.
How to apply - Applications for children starting Reception in September 2025 open on Tuesday 5th November 2024 and close on Wednesday 15 January 2025. If you provided an email address on your application Kent County Council will email you on Tuesday 16 April 2025 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. You can also log in from 5pm on Tuesday 16 April 2025 to view your offer online. Offer emails will be sent to the email address provided on your application.
Appeals - If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2025, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (16 April 2025). You need to submit your appeal in by Tuesday 20th May 2025 for it to be considered by July 2025, and can only appeal for schools that were named on your original application form. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
If you wish to apply under our faith-based criteria you will need to complete an additional form called a Supplementary Information Form (SIF).
