We teach French as our Modern Foreign Languages offer in KS2 which is led by a French-speaking HLTA. To be able to deliver high quality French lessons we use the Language Angels scheme of work which provides a well-sequenced curriculum. This well-sequenced curriculum ensures that key vocabulary is revisited time and time again to enable key learning to be retrieved and remembered. When designing our French curriculum, we have carefully considered the starting points of our children and designed a progressive scheme of learning that allows solid foundations to be built and prior learning to be utilised. As well as this, we ensure it provides challenge for all learners.
