Extended Services and Clubs
We offer a wide range of school clubs throughout the day including before school, lunchtime and after school opportunities. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience a range of clubs including music, arts, sports and drama opportunities. Many of our school clubs are free, some of our school clubs need to be paid for however we encourage all children to take part in a club and make provision for families where the cost of clubs may be prohibitive.
As a parent of our school, if you have any skills or talents and would like to offer a club, we are always keen to offer more, please contact the office so we can make necessary arrangements for this. Children would love the following clubs if you can help : book club, art, sewing, knitting, lego, games, film, fitness.
Our Breakfast and After-School Clubs are open to any child who attends our school. The club runs Monday through Friday when the school is open to children (both do not run on INSET days and during school holidays). Breakfast Club from 7.45 am and After-School Club until 6pm.
We accept tax-free childcare vouchers and childcare grant payments. If parents are in receipt of these schemes please show evidence to the office and we can adapt Parentpay so you can book childcare without paying up front. See document below for more information on this.
Drop-off for breakfast club is at 7.45am only. Pick-up for after-school club is by 6pm daily.
Can I book wraparound care on the day I need it?
Wraparound Care can be booked via Parentpay, our school payment system.
Ideally the school needs 48 hours notice to book wraparound care. However, if there are slots available at the last minute, you can still book on the day. Please note we may be full so it is always best to book in advance. You will still need to complete a registration form, see below, before children can attend.
Can I use the tax-free childcare government scheme to pay?
Check if you are eligible for tax-free childcare in the link below.

If you qualify, just name Sissinghurst Church of England Primary School as your childcare provider.
If you get tax credits, Universal Credit, a childcare bursary or grant, or childcare vouchers
You cannot get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as claiming Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
Which scheme you’re better off with depends on your situation
